History

Since 2009 Janytree has taken on cosmetic and skin care challenges with passion.

2021

  • Selected in the manufacturing innovation category by the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Export Voucher Support Program
  • Selected as Excellent Product in Seoul Award (Amplance Hydro)
  • Expanded the ISO22716 Fragrances and hair removal product range

2020

  • Completed a smart factory advancement program
  • Launched Amplance Hydro Intense Hydration consumer line
  • Awarded the grand prize in the skin care category at the 2020 Korea Beauty & Health Awards hosted by Hankook Ilbo
  • Chosen as a seller for 5 brands including AFRIMO

2019

  • Obtained Certificate of Excellent Technology by Korea Rating & Data
  • Expanded manufacturing facilities dedicated for ampoules
  • Developed and manufactured various ampoules for skin improvement and skin care innovation

2018

  • “INTOMEDI Bio-Peptone” was listed in International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary and Handbook (ICID)
  • Implemented and built a smart factory solution and facilities
  • Established online mall for INTOMEDI professional and customer line

2017

  • Obtained ISO 22716 (International Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics) certification
  • Signed an Agreement for the Export Voucher Capacity Building Project
  • Subdivided the INTOMEDI into clinic and hospital product line and the esthetic professional product line
  • Applied for a patent for a skin-beautifying agent for the activation of skin cells

2016

  • Janytree headquarters moved to a larger office
  • Janytree factory moved to a larger facility
  • Renewed Janytree CI and INTOMEDI BI
  • Funded by the Small and Medium Business Administration, Janytree developed an external preparation to inhibit pruritus cutaneous and promote skin regeneration using bioactive peptides (BPs)
  • Released INTOMEDI Naturalism Phytoncide Derma customer line
  • Applied for a patent for a microneedle used in preventing hair loss and improving hair growth

2015

  • Released skin care and haircare products customized for skin concerns using Bio-Peptone, the patented ingredient

2014

  • Obtained ISO 9001 certification
  • Received Angel Investment Matching Fund from the Small and Medium Business Administration
  • Funded by the Small and Medium Business Administration (R&D collaboration with a burn center), Janytree developed a product that prevents or alleviates the side effects of heat-induced skin damage
  • Introduced Skinmaker 1:1 coaching program for professionals and established a home skin care market

2013

  • unded by the Small and Medium Business Administration, Janytree developed and commercialized an agent that can combat hair loss and promote hair growth using a new delivery system
  • Released skin care devices including INTOMEDI IPL, ion, and radiofrequency (RF)
  • INTOMEDI brand skin care products obtained China Hygiene License

2012

  • Designated as Promising Small and Medium Enterprise in Export
  • Obtained GMP certification
  • Expanded and built distribution network for the OEM business in the overseas market
  • CEO Eunju Kim received Korean Young Entrepreneur and Korean Women Entrepreneur awards

2011

  • Founded a Janytree factory
  • Obtained Venture Company certification
  • Obtained Women Enterprise certification
  • Launched INTOMR (INTOMEDI Micro-needle Roller), MTS medical device brand

2010

  • aunched INTOMEDI, a cosmeceutical brand
  • Signed MOUs with clinics and hospitals and released cosmetics for clinics and hospitals
  • Established domestic OEM system and built a distribution network for clinics and hospitals and esthetics salons
  • Participated in an international beauty expo and began exporting

2009

  • Established INTOMEDI Inc. and changed the company name to Janytree Inc.
  • Established a company affiliated Skin Science Lab
  • Obtained cosmetics manufacturing business approval
  • Obtained medical device manufacturing business license
